Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Secretary General Muhammad Humayun Khan on Wednesday urged the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) to support the party in the upcoming elections, asserting that the PPP represents the path to development, democratic stability, and public prosperity in the region.
PPP's Commitment to Kashmir Cause

He said the PPP has consistently championed the Kashmir cause at every national and international forum and remains firmly committed to supporting the Kashmiri people's internationally recognized right to self-determination.
Paying tribute to the party's legacy, Humayun Khan said the contributions of former prime minister Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and former prime minister Shaheed Benazir Bhutto towards the Kashmir cause remain unforgettable and continue to inspire the party's policies. He added that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is playing an effective role in safeguarding the rights and interests of the Kashmiri people through sustained political and diplomatic engagement.
Electoral Performance in Gilgit-Baltistan
Referring to the party's electoral performance in Gilgit-Baltistan, the PPP Secretary General said the people of the region had already demonstrated their trust in the party, reflecting confidence in its vision of democratic governance, inclusive development, and public welfare. He maintained that the PPP is the only political party genuinely committed to public service, economic progress, and democratic stability.
Call to Vote for Arrow Symbol
Humayun Khan urged AJK voters to stamp the party's Arrow symbol in the elections, saying their support would pave the way for a new era of development, employment opportunities, and people-centric governance. Emphasizing the significance of the upcoming polls, he said every vote would not merely determine an electoral outcome but would also shape the future direction and prosperity of AJK.
