Islamabad: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected across most parts of Pakistan during the next 12 hours, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department. However, isolated rain-windstorms and thunderstorms are likely in northeast Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Potohar region, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan during evening and night hours.

Partly cloudy weather with gusty and dust-raising winds is expected in south Punjab and upper Sindh during the afternoon. The morning temperatures recorded in major cities include: Islamabad 19°C, Lahore 25°C, Karachi 28°C, Peshawar 21°C, Quetta 17°C, Gilgit and Murree 13°C, and Muzaffarabad 20°C.
