Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Barrister Danyal Chaudhry stated on Saturday that Pakistan's foreign policy is yielding tangible results on the international stage, positioning the country for a better economic shift. He expressed confidence that the coming months will help achieve national targets and overcome inflationary pressures.
Economic Recovery and Stability
Speaking to a state-run news channel, Chaudhry highlighted that the PML-N-led government inherited an economy on the brink of default risk. He asserted that the administration has successfully steered the country away from crisis toward stability, recovery, and renewed international confidence. Key macroeconomic indicators are improving, and investor confidence is gradually returning, according to the parliamentary secretary.
Chaudhry emphasized that Pakistan is now firmly on the path of economic stabilization and growth. He noted that inflationary pressures are gradually easing, and economic conditions are showing steady improvement.
Foreign Policy Shift and Diplomatic Credibility
The parliamentary secretary credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for a major shift in Pakistan's foreign policy direction. He described this as a historic achievement in restoring Pakistan's international engagement and diplomatic credibility. According to Chaudhry, Pakistan has been put back on its feet and is now positioned to move toward sustained stability and growth.
Expanded Trade Relations with Iran
Chaudhry announced that expanded trade relations with Iran are expected in the near future. This development, he said, would create new employment opportunities and strengthen economic activity across multiple sectors of the economy.
Long-Term Budget Vision
The current budget has been designed with a long-term and structured vision, Chaudhry explained. It focuses on key sectors such as textiles, housing, exports, manufacturing, infrastructure, information technology, and remittances. Clear targets have been set to ensure sustainable growth and economic stability in the coming months.
Positive Outlook
In conclusion, Chaudhry expressed confidence that better days lie ahead for Pakistan. He stated that ongoing economic reforms, improved stability, and strengthened foreign relations will continue to deliver positive results in the future.
