I hope you are well. I recently read that Pakistan is hosting important talks between the United States and Iran aimed at de-escalating tensions and reopening the Strait of Hormuz. The efforts of our Prime Minister and national leadership to promote peace are commendable and a source of pride.
Impact on Pakistan
As a student from Sindh, I understand how conflict in the Middle East affects Pakistan—through rising oil prices, increased regional instability, and security concerns. War is devastating, claiming innocent lives, including those of children in Iran, Israel, and Lebanon.
Constructive Role
It is encouraging to see Pakistan playing a constructive role rather than remaining a passive observer. However, these talks must yield timely results, as prolonged conflict harms the entire world. Leaders must engage sincerely and work towards a lasting ceasefire rather than temporary arrangements.
Young people aspire to a peaceful future where they can study, travel, and live without the fear of global conflict. Pakistan must continue its efforts towards peace.
