Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper on Saturday. During the call, Foreign Secretary Cooper reiterated the United Kingdom’s appreciation for Pakistan’s sustained efforts in promoting peace and stability in the region. She specifically acknowledged Pakistan’s mediation that led to the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran.
