Pakistan Warns Afghan Taliban Against Harboring Terrorists

Spokesperson to the President of Pakistan Murtaza Solangi on Monday stated that the illegitimate Afghan Taliban regime is attempting to damage Pakistan's image as a global peacemaker by unleashing terrorism from its soil against Pakistani civilians and soldiers, in an effort to please Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Solangi's Statement on X

In a statement on his X timeline, Solangi said that the Afghan Taliban either believe Pakistan will take no action or that their patrons will protect them. He asserted that Pakistan would not only send the terrorists to hell but also their patrons and financiers. Solangi emphasized that Pakistan would defeat the terrorists while continuing to serve as a global peacemaker.

Background of the Statement

The spokesperson made these remarks after Minister for Information and Broadcasting announced that Pakistan's security forces had conducted a well-planned, intelligence-based ground operation along the Pakistan-Afghan border. This followed multiple recent terrorist incidents inside Pakistan targeting innocent people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and the Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Camp in Karachi.

Calibrated Strikes Against Terrorist Hideouts

Subsequently, calibrated strikes were carried out in the border region against hideouts and safe havens of terrorists belonging to Jamaat ul Ahrar and Fitna al Khawarij. The operation resulted in the killing of twenty-nine Khawarij. During the operation near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Bajaur, high-value Khawarji Commander Khan Farosh, also known as Zabal, along with three terrorists from the Indian proxy Jamaat ul Ahrar, were eliminated.

Operation Ghazb Lil Haq

In continuation of Operation Ghazb Lil Haq, security forces targeted hideouts of Jamaat ul Ahrar and Fitna al Khawarij in the Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar provinces of Afghanistan, killing twenty-five terrorists. Large quantities of weapons, ammunition, and hideouts were also destroyed.
