President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday commended the security forces for executing a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) against terrorists linked to the Indian proxy Fitna al-Hindustan in the Naal area of Basima district, Balochistan. The president stated that the timely and effective operation, which thwarted the plans of the terrorists, showcased the professionalism of state institutions and the nation's unwavering commitment to combating terrorism.
President Zardari's Remarks
Paying tribute to the courage and sacrifices of the security forces, President Zardari praised them for eliminating 14 Indian-backed terrorists, according to a statement issued by the President Secretariat Media Wing. He emphasized that continued operations against anti-state elements are essential to protect national security and maintain peace and stability across the country. The president also expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of Lance Havildar Muhammad Abbass, stating that the sacrifices made by the nation's brave soldiers in defense of the homeland would never be forgotten.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office Media Wing, the prime minister prayed for the elevation of the martyr's ranks in Jannah and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
