The two ministers reviewed existing ties and explored ways to enhance cooperation across various fields, according to a statement from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs on X. The meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to deepen their partnership.

Regional Security and Humanitarian Issues

Sweden reaffirmed its condemnation of Iranian attacks and expressed solidarity with affected countries. The Swedish side stressed the importance of restoring freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz to protect the global economy from the impact of the current situation.
