Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah presided over a high-level meeting at CM House to review the overall security situation across the province. The session assessed the current security environment, law and order status, the latest threat matrix, and updates on intelligence-led measures and the Integrated Response Framework Plan (IFRP).

High-Level Attendance and Briefings

The meeting was attended by provincial ministers, senior civil administration officials, and heads of military, Rangers, police, intelligence agencies, and other law-enforcement bodies. Participants received briefings on the current security landscape, ongoing counterterrorism operations, and steps taken to maintain peace and stability throughout Sindh.

The forum also reviewed preparedness and response mechanisms to address emerging security challenges. According to the CM House statement, the participants expressed satisfaction over the overall law and order situation and reaffirmed their resolve to ensure a secure environment for the people of Sindh.

Emphasis on Inter-Agency Coordination

The meeting underscored the importance of enhanced inter-agency coordination, timely intelligence sharing, and proactive measures to counter security threats effectively. It was decided to further intensify intelligence-based targeted operations against terrorists, criminal elements, and their facilitators.

All relevant agencies were directed to continue working in close coordination to safeguard public safety, preserve peace, and strengthen the writ of the state. The Chief Minister appreciated the contributions of security and law-enforcement agencies and directed that coordinated efforts be further enhanced to sustain gains achieved in maintaining law and order across the province.

The security review comes amid ongoing efforts to stabilize Karachi and other parts of Sindh. Separately, Karachi Bar elections were held after a seven-month delay.
