Tahir Ashrafi: Dialogue Best Way to Resolve All Issues

Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, has stated that dialogue remains the most effective method for resolving all issues and disputes. He made these remarks while addressing a news conference in Lahore today.

Ashrafi highlighted that the Azad Jammu and Kashmir government had made every possible effort to resolve matters through peaceful means and mutual understanding. He emphasized the importance of dialogue in achieving lasting solutions.

Condemnation of CMH Rawalakot Attack

Strongly condemning the attack on the Combined Military Hospital Rawalakot, he described the incident as highly deplorable and unacceptable. He asserted that there could be no justification for attacks on the country's security institutions.

State Responsibility

Tahir Ashrafi said it is the responsibility of the state to take action against those who violate the Constitution and the law. He stressed that such actions are essential to maintain order and justice.

He described Paigham-e-Pakistan as a nationally agreed document that promotes peace, tolerance, and unity. Ashrafi added that the National Peace Committee is actively working across the country to foster harmony and stability.
