VEHARI - Additional Inspector General South Punjab Rao Kamran Khan has asserted that cowardly acts of terrorism cannot shake the morale of the police force, which remains fully committed, alert, and professionally prepared in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
Funeral Prayers Attended
Speaking to The Nation after attending the funeral prayers of police personnel martyred in a terrorist attack in Dera Ghazi Khan, he stated that the terrorist network is now in its final stages and is being continuously weakened due to effective operations by law enforcement agencies, which have tightened the noose around them.
Martyrs Are National Asset
He further said that the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country are a national asset. He assured that the families of the martyrs will not be left alone and that all possible support will be provided to them.
Medical and Financial Assistance
Rao Kamran Khan directed the concerned authorities to ensure the provision of the best possible medical facilities to the injured personnel on an emergency basis, along with immediate steps for comprehensive financial assistance.
Resolve to Eliminate Terrorism
Reaffirming his resolve, he stated that the sacrifices of the martyrs will not go in vain, and the police, along with other security agencies, will continue their efforts until the complete elimination of terrorism from the country.
