Memon emphasized that advance planning, timely decision-making, and the use of modern technology to tackle natural disasters are the need of the hour. He highlighted that proactive measures are essential to mitigate the impact of extreme weather events, which have become more frequent due to climate change.

Next Generation Early Warning System

Sharjeel announced that the launch of the Next Generation Early Warning System and Predictive Disaster Intelligence System is a major breakthrough in Pakistan's disaster management framework. These systems are expected to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of warnings, enabling better preparedness and response.
