The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reconstituted its Administration Committee for the third time in the past year, replacing Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir with Justice Inaam Amin Minhas in the latest administrative reshuffle. According to a notification issued by the IHC Registrar, Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar approved the reconstitution, superseding the court's earlier notification No. F. 128/Confr../IHC/4277 dated February 11, 2026.
New Composition of the Committee
Under the new composition, Chief Justice Dogar will continue to serve as Chairman of the committee. The other members are Justice Muhammad Azam Khan, Justice Muhammad Asif, and Justice Inaam Amin Minhas. This marks the third change in the committee's membership over the past year.
Previous Reshuffles
In July 2025, the committee comprised Chief Justice Dogar, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir, Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro, and Justice Muhammad Azam Khan. The committee was first reconstituted in February 2026, when Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro was replaced by Justice Muhammad Asif, while the remaining members retained their positions. With the latest notification, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir has also been replaced, making Justice Inaam Amin Minhas the newest member of the four-member committee.
Role of the Administration Committee
The Administration Committee is the principal administrative body of the Islamabad High Court and is responsible for taking key decisions relating to the court's internal administration and institutional affairs.
