Deputy Inspector General of Prisons Bahawalpur Region Qazi Muhammad Aslam paid a detailed visit to District Jail Bahawalnagar, where he was warmly welcomed. A smart and well-dressed contingent presented a guard of honour in his honour.
Inspection of Jail Departments
During the visit, Superintendent District Jail Syed Hassan Mujtaba and Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Iqbal accompanied the DIG Prisons to inspect various departments of the jail. They briefed him on administrative matters and showed him around the facility.
Review of Facilities
DIG Qazi Muhammad Aslam inspected the kitchen, hospital, security arrangements, and other important departments of the jail. He also reviewed the facilities being provided to the prisoners, including cleanliness, food quality, and medical facilities. He expressed satisfaction with the security arrangements in the jail.
Interaction with Prisoners' Relatives
During the visit, DIG Prisons also met the relatives of the prisoners in the visiting shed, listening to their concerns and ensuring that proper protocols were being followed.
Commendation for Jail Administration
Later, DIG Prisons Region Bahawalpur Qazi Muhammad Aslam appreciated the performance of the jail administration and the efforts made for the welfare of the prisoners. He encouraged them to continue their good work.
In a separate development, Deputy Commissioner Khalid Goraya stated that all resources are being utilized to enhance cotton production in the region.
