Government Assurances and Commitment
Responding to the concerns raised, Additional Chief Secretary Ikramullah Khan and Special Assistant Tariq Saeed Marwat assured the delegation that the prevailing security situation would be conveyed to the Chief Secretary and Chief Minister for appropriate action. They pledged to take all possible measures to address the district’s security challenges.
The officials stated that the provincial government remained committed to restoring lasting peace in Lakki Marwat and was implementing practical measures to strengthen law and order. They noted that dedicated funds had been allocated in the provincial budget to enhance the operational capacity of the police force through the provision of modern equipment and facilities. This move is expected to support counterterrorism efforts and reinforce long-term stability.
Delegation Response and Outcome
The delegation welcomed the government’s assurances and appreciated the commitment shown by the Special Assistant and the Additional Chief Secretary towards resolving the district’s security concerns.
