Mohmand op reveals slain terrorist as Afghan national Umar Bilal

Islamabad: Further evidence has emerged linking Fitna al-Khawarij and Afghanistan to terrorism in Pakistan. Security forces conducted a successful operation in the Sheikh Banda mountainous area of Mohmand, eliminating two Khwarij terrorists. One of the killed terrorists was identified as an Afghan national. Authorities recovered Afghan Emirati identification documents, foreign currency, modern weapons, and a suicide vest from the slain terrorists.

Officials stated that the Afghan Khwarij member was clearly identified as Umar Bilal on his Afghan Emirati ID card. He was a resident of Khost province in Afghanistan. According to defense experts, this identification is further proof that the nexus between Fitna al-Khawarij and the Afghan Taliban regime is attempting to destabilize peace in Pakistan.

Defense analysts further stated that Pakistan has repeatedly presented evidence at international forums regarding the use of Afghan soil for terrorism. They added that Pakistan’s security forces remain committed to eliminating terrorism from the country root and branch. The operation took place on June 4, 2026, during which two Khwarij terrorists were eliminated.
