Lahore – President of Patriotic Companions and traders leader Mian Mateen stated that Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has emerged as a senior politician by playing a key role on the national front in recent years.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Mian Mateen said that after entering national politics, Mohsin Naqvi silently carried out important tasks without seeking publicity or admiration. He emphasized that the Interior Minister ensured foolproof security arrangements during the high-stakes US-Iran talks held in the federal capital.
Comprehensive Security Plan
He noted that the Islamabad administration, under Naqvi's supervision, implemented a comprehensive and multi-layer security plan to prevent any untoward incident. The minister also visited several countries to facilitate the success of the US-Iran talks, which ultimately led to a ceasefire.

During his tenure as Punjab Chief Minister, Mohsin Naqvi completed numerous development projects in record time. These included the renovation of the Qaddafi Stadium, along with several main roads, underpasses, and crossings that had been neglected in the past.
