Security operations are ongoing in North Waziristan, where security forces have eliminated 21 additional militants in a fresh operation, bringing the total number of militants killed in recent operations to 48. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces successfully conducted a series of targeted operations in the region.

Details of the Operation

The military’s media wing stated that terrorist hideouts were targeted during operations carried out over the past 72 hours in Miranshah and surrounding areas. The ISPR confirmed that four key militant commanders were among those killed. They were identified as Khalid Raza alias Salar, Muftoon, Musa, and Imran alias Ayan. Security officials said these individuals were wanted for their involvement in multiple terrorist activities.

Recovery of Weapons

The ISPR further stated that the total number of militants killed in the recent operations has now risen to 48. Security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition from their possession. According to the military spokesperson, clearance operations in North Waziristan are continuing, and operations will remain underway until all remaining militants in the area are eliminated.

Commitment to Anti-Terrorism

The ISPR added that the anti-terrorism campaign under Operation Azm-e-Istehkam is being carried out with full force and will continue until all externally supported terrorism is eradicated from Pakistan. The operations reflect the security forces' determination to maintain peace and stability in the region.
