PM Shehbaz, President Zardari Vow to Eliminate Terrorism
Pak Leaders Discuss Security, Condemn Terrorism

In a significant high-level meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with President Asif Ali Zardari at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Tuesday. The leaders engaged in crucial discussions focusing on the country's overall security and political landscape.

Unified Stance Against Terrorism

Both leaders strongly condemned the recent surge in terrorist activities. They jointly reaffirmed the nation's resolve, stating that operations against foreign-sponsored terrorists and their facilitators will continue relentlessly until the menace of terrorism is completely eradicated from Pakistan.

The high-profile meeting was also attended by Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, and federal ministers including Mohsin Naqvi, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Khalid Hussain Magsi, and Abdul Aleem Khan.

Condemnation of Judicial Complex Attack

In a separate but related development, President Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz issued strong statements condemning a specific suicide blast. They attributed the attack near the Islamabad District Judicial Complex to Indian-backed groups, specifically naming Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan.

Both leaders expressed their profound sympathies and condolences to the families who lost loved ones in the attack. They also prayed for the swift recovery of those injured.

In his statement, President Zardari labeled terrorist elements as enemies of Pakistan's peace and stability. He emphasized the critical need to eliminate all terrorists operating within the country with external support. The President also paid homage to the personnel of law enforcement agencies who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

Investigation and Resolve

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned what he described as terrorist attacks on unarmed Pakistani citizens by Indian proxies. He has directed an immediate investigation into the incident and expressed a firm commitment to ensuring that all those responsible are brought to justice.

The Prime Minister declared that the blood of innocent Pakistanis will not be shed in vain. He asserted that such cowardly acts cannot weaken the nation's resolve against terrorism. The war against terrorism will persist until the last terrorist from these groups is eliminated.

Prime Minister Shehbaz also called upon the international community, stating that the time has come for the world to condemn India's heinous conspiracies. He remarked that India's intention to disrupt regional peace has been thoroughly exposed to the global audience.
