Pakistan Army Wins Pacesticking Competition 2026 in UK

The Pakistan Army team, represented by the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), clinched the top position at the International Pacesticking Competition 2026, held at the Royal Military Academy (RMA) Sandhurst in the United Kingdom. The military's media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), announced this achievement on Friday.

Clean Sweep of Honors

According to the ISPR, the PMA team made a clean sweep of the competition, securing all major honors. These included the overall team trophy, the best pace sticker award, and the best driver award. The nine-member Pakistani contingent, led by Major Haider Gulzar (Adjutant, PMA), arrived in the UK on June 5, 2026, as per the official statement.

Fierce International Competition

The ISPR reported that a total of 16 international teams from various armies participated in this fiercely contested annual event. The victory was described as reflective of the highest standards of professional training, excellence, and dedication maintained by the Armed Forces of Pakistan.

Previous Recognition for Pakistan Army Cadet

Earlier, on May 6, Pakistan Army cadet Sardar Arsam Abbas was declared the “overall best foreign military cadet” by Australia’s Royal Military College (RMC). The ISPR stated that the Australian RMC, Duntroon, conferred this honor on Cadet Sardar Arsam Abbas (PMA 152 long course) during the passing-out parade held at RMC Duntroon, Canberra, on May 5, 2026.

The award is given to the highest-performing foreign military cadet across all facets of training. This achievement underscores the high standards of professionalism, commitment, and excellence demonstrated by the junior leadership of the Pakistan Army, as per the ISPR statement.
