The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that Pakistan's Hajj flight operation is set to conclude today, with a total of 3,296 pilgrims departing for Saudi Arabia on 12 flights from various cities across the country. Officials confirmed that the final Hajj flight, PK-741 from Lahore, will leave at 10:30 pm, carrying 290 pilgrims.
Pilgrims Already in Saudi Arabia
According to authorities, 114,078 Pakistani pilgrims had already reached Saudi Arabia by last night to perform Hajj. The remaining group of 457 pilgrims currently in Madinah is expected to arrive in Makkah today, completing the transfer process.
Private Hajj Scheme Pilgrims
Additionally, 44,146 pilgrims traveling under the private Hajj scheme are also present in Saudi Arabia. The return Hajj operation from Jeddah is scheduled to commence on May 31.
Monitoring and Refunds
Authorities added that ministry monitoring teams have completed interviews with 4,913 private Hajj pilgrims to review arrangements and services. Action was also taken on complaints related to excessive Hajj charges, leading to refunds worth 73,255 Saudi riyals to affected pilgrims.
