President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif performed Eidul Azha prayers alongside thousands of worshippers, urging the nation to embrace the values of unity, sacrifice, and compassion on this religious occasion.
President Zardari Leads Prayers at Zardari House
President Zardari offered his Eidul Azha prayers at Zardari House, where a large number of citizens and prominent personalities also participated in the congregation. During the prayers, the president prayed for the country's peace, security, progress, and prosperity. Following the prayers, he met with citizens and local elders, exchanging Eid greetings.
In his Eid message, President Zardari emphasized that Eidul Azha reflects the values of obedience, patience, and selflessness demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Ismail (AS). He highlighted the importance of promoting national unity, brotherhood, and extending support to underprivileged communities.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's Eid Message
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also performed Eid prayers in Lahore and prayed for the country's peace, stability, and development. He urged people to remember those in need during Eid celebrations and called for collective efforts to strengthen unity and address national challenges.
The prime minister stated that the spirit of Eidul Azha encourages sacrifice for the greater good and motivates Muslims to place collective welfare above personal interests. Special prayers were also offered across the country for Pakistan’s progress, public well-being, and the unity of the Muslim Ummah, as citizens celebrated Eidul Azha with religious devotion and traditional enthusiasm.
