PM Shehbaz Meets MQM Delegation on Budget and Karachi Development

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with a delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM) led by Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui to deliberate on federal budget proposals and development matters related to Sindh and Karachi. The MQM delegation included Farooq Sattar, members of the National Assembly Syed Aminul Haque, and Javed Hanif. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with Prime Minister’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah, also participated in the meeting.

Discussion on Budget and Development

During the meeting, the MQM delegation presented its recommendations for the upcoming federal budget and highlighted issues concerning public welfare and development projects in Sindh, with a particular focus on Karachi. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif described MQM as an important coalition partner of the federal government and appreciated the party’s support for various welfare initiatives introduced by the administration.

Implementation Plan

The prime minister directed the concerned authorities to thoroughly examine the proposals submitted by MQM and formulate a practical and comprehensive plan for their implementation. The meeting also included an exchange of views on the prevailing political situation in the country.
