Inspector General Police Punjab Abdul Kareem held a meeting with police personnel and their family members at the Central Police Office, where he listened to their concerns and issued immediate directions for prompt relief.
Immediate Action on Transfer and Course Requests
On the transfer request of Sanitary Worker Rameez Masih, IG Punjab directed the DIG SPU to provide relief. Regarding an application submitted by 10 Security Constables concerning the Lower Class Course, directions were issued to the Additional IG Punjab and DIG Legal to consider the matter.
Financial Assistance and Widow's Application
On the financial assistance request of Lady Constable Sunbal Arshad, necessary directions were issued to the Additional IG Welfare & Finance. Similarly, on the application submitted by the widow of Shaheed Sub-Inspector Abdul Hameed regarding the dismissal of a case, the SSP Investigation Lahore was directed to review the matter.
Accommodation and Other Welfare Issues
On the request of retired Sub-Inspector Arif Ali regarding official accommodation, the AIG Development was directed to provide relief. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem also issued directions on other applications related to discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare.
