A delegation of the Youth Senate of Pakistan visited the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Tuesday, where they received a comprehensive briefing on the legislative process and parliamentary traditions.
Briefing on Legislation Process
Special Secretary of the KP Assembly, Syed Waqar Shah, provided the delegation with detailed insights into the various steps involved in the legislative process and the functioning of assembly departments. He emphasized that it is crucial for young people to be informed about parliamentary systems and constitutional aspects. Shah noted that the provincial assembly is actively working to educate youth about parliamentary norms and the role of national institutions.
Oath-Taking Ceremony
Member of the Provincial Assembly, Mehr Sultana, administered an oath to the delegation participants. She also educated them on the importance of a positive approach, national development, and their active involvement in the democratic system.

The delegation praised the KP Assembly for its efforts to inform youth about the parliamentary system and vowed to apply the knowledge and experience gained in their practical lives.
