Hyderabad Police Kill Two Robbers in Encounter

The Hyderabad police shot dead two accused robbers, allegedly involved in interprovincial crimes, in an encounter near Cantt graveyard within the limits of Makki Shah police station. The police spokesman informed here on Saturday that two brothers, Muzamil Razzak and Dilshad Razzak, hailing from Gujranwala district, Punjab, lost their lives in an exchange of fire with the police.

Alleged Crimes and Modus Operandi

The spokesman claimed that the slain suspects allegedly carried out robberies with the help of their female associates, mainly targeting lady doctors. He added that the suspects were allegedly booked in 35 cases of robberies and other crimes. According to the spokesman, the suspects had allegedly conducted robberies in Gulshan-e-Bakhtawar, Cantt, and Gulistan-e-Sajjad localities in the months of April and June this year.

Post-Encounter Procedures

The bodies were shifted to Liaquat University Hospital for medico legal formalities. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident and are working to identify other members of the gang.
