NAWABSHAH - Regional Director Ombudsman Shaheed Benazirabad, Khan Muhammad Zardari, conducted an open public forum, known as Khuli Kachehri, in Village Imtiaz Ahmed Zardari, Union Council Fatehpur. The event drew a large number of local residents who actively participated and presented their complaints and issues pertaining to various government departments.
Ombudsman's Commitment to Justice
Addressing the gathering, Regional Director Ombudsman Khan Muhammad Zardari emphasized that the Ombudsman institution is dedicated to ensuring justice and enhancing public services delivered by government departments. He stated that the purpose of organizing these open forums is to reach people at their doorstep, listen to their problems, and hold relevant institutions accountable for resolving them.
Encouraging Public Participation
He urged the public to contact the Ombudsman's office for the resolution of their legitimate grievances, assuring that their complaints would be addressed in a timely manner. During the open forum, citizens highlighted a range of issues, including water supply, healthcare, education, road repairs, electricity, and other basic facilities.
In response, the Regional Director assured that letters would be dispatched to concerned officials to ensure prompt investigation of public complaints and their early resolution. Additionally, it was announced that Ewing Hall is to be restored as a heritage building.
