RPO Holds Open Court in Fort Abbas, Addresses Public Complaints

Regional Police Officer (RPO) Bahawalpur Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin on Tuesday paid a one-day visit to Bahawalnagar district, with the primary objective of directly redressing public complaints through an open court and reviewing the quality of policing.

RPO Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin organized an open court at Fort Abbas police station, which was attended by District Police Officer Bahawalnagar Muhammad Imran, SDPO Circle Fort Abbas, SHOs, and other police officers. A large number of citizens presented their problems both in writing and verbally before the RPO.

RPO Issues Strict Orders

RPO Bahawalpur listened to the problems of the complainants individually and issued strict orders to the officers present on the spot on several complaints to resolve them within the stipulated time. He clarified that delay in investigation and unnecessary postponement will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Vision of Punjab CM and IGP

Speaking on the occasion, RPO Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin said that according to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Punjab IGP Abdul Kareem, providing justice to the people at their doorstep is their top priority. The aim of open courts is to bridge the gap between the police and the people. Unresolved issues are being resolved immediately on the basis of merit and transparency so that redressal of the aggrieved can be ensured.

DPO Assures Implementation

Meanwhile, DPO Muhammad Imran said that all available resources are being utilized to maintain law and order across the district and protect the lives and property of the people. He assured that the instructions given by the RPO will be strictly implemented.
