Funeral and Burial of Ali Murtaza Jameel

The funeral prayer for Ali Murtaza Jameel, a Karachi-based businessman who fell victim to terrorist firing in Balochistan's Dasht area, was offered after Zuhr prayers at Rehmani Mosque on Tariq Road. A large number of mourners, including relatives, acquaintances, and members of the business community, participated. Later, the body was consigned to the earth at Tariq Road graveyard amid profound sorrow.

Condemnation by Trade Leaders

Trade leaders strongly condemned the brazen incident and called upon the government to take immediate notice, trace the perpetrators, and bring them to justice. Speaking to media representatives, Rizwan Irfan, President of the Karachi Electronic Dealers Association, termed the killing a tragic episode and an act of blatant terrorism.

Details of the Attack

"Our colleague had visited Quetta with his family for the first time when his vehicle came under attack," Irfan said. "Ali Murtaza sustained a fatal bullet wound to his chest, while his wife was critically injured after receiving five bullets. She is currently under treatment at a private hospital. His young daughters, by a miracle, survived the attack," he added.

Irfan expressed anguish over the brutality of the assailants, saying: "The terrorists showed no mercy - what were they doing to a family?" The incident has sparked outrage among the business community, demanding swift action against the perpetrators.
