In a significant crackdown, Rawalpindi police have successfully apprehended a three-member criminal gang allegedly involved in a series of robberies and vehicle thefts. The operation, conducted on Saturday, led to the recovery of a substantial cache of stolen goods and weapons from the suspects' possession.

Major Haul of Stolen Property Recovered

During the raid, law enforcement officials recovered a wide array of stolen items. The seized property includes a stolen Mehran car, four motorcycles, and cash amounting to Rs188,000. Furthermore, police confiscated four mobile phones, a laptop, an LCD television, artificial jewelry, and the weapons reportedly used by the gang in their criminal activities.

Gang Involved in Multiple Crimes

According to police authorities, the arrested individuals were not one-time offenders but were actively involved in multiple incidents of dacoity and theft across the area. The Naseerabad police station has formally registered a case against the suspects, and a comprehensive investigation is currently in progress to uncover further details of their operations and potential accomplices.

Police Leadership Commends Team, Promises Justice

Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar, Talha Wali, praised the police team for their successful operation. He emphasized that the arrested suspects would be presented before the court with solid and irrefutable evidence. SP Wali made it clear that criminals who deprive citizens of their hard-earned assets will not escape the grip of the law.

He reiterated that the prime duty of the police force is to protect the lives and properties of the people. This arrest sends a strong message about the commitment of Rawalpindi police to combat street crime and ensure public safety.
