A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Sargodha on Friday, where a man took his own life along with his infant daughter by jumping into the Lower Jhelum Canal. The tragic event, driven by domestic issues, has sent shockwaves through the Phularwan area community.

According to sources from Rescue 1122, the man has been identified as Irtaza Nasar, aged 35. He took the extreme step along with his baby daughter, Hudeeba. Before committing the act, Irtaza reportedly recorded a video message stating his intention to end his life and that of his young child.
Rescue and Recovery Operation
Upon receiving information, emergency services sprang into action. A team from Rescue 1122 divers, accompanied by a police team led by the DSP Circle Bhalwal and the concerned SHO, rushed to the spot. The rescue teams managed to fish out the body of the infant, Hudeeba, from the canal waters.
At the time the initial report was filed, the search operation for Irtaza Nasar's body was still actively underway. Authorities are investigating the precise domestic reasons that led to this devastating outcome.
