Strict Security Measures for Fair Examinations
The District Administration has taken decisive action to ensure the integrity of competitive examinations by imposing Section 144 around all testing centers. Deputy Commissioner Rahimullah Mehsud issued a formal notification on Friday, establishing strict security protocols that will remain effective until December 4.
Specific Locations Under Restrictions
The security measures cover a 100-meter radius around several key educational institutions serving as examination centers. The affected locations include Government Girls Degree College No. 3, Old FEF College, Government Higher Secondary School No. 1 on Jarvanda Road, and Government High School No. 3 (Boys) near Hangu Phatak.
According to the official directive, the ban applies equally to candidates, invigilators, and police personnel. The prohibited items list is comprehensive, including books, notes, guides, solved papers, digital diaries, mobile phones, electronic devices, weapons, and any other restricted materials that could compromise examination integrity.
Legal Consequences and Enforcement
The district police have received clear instructions to maintain strict vigilance around the examination centers. Additionally, principals of the respective institutions have been directed to ensure full implementation of the security order.
Deputy Commissioner Mehsud emphasized that these restrictions are essential to prevent cheating and external interference during the PMS/AETOS examinations. The measures aim to create a level playing field for all candidates and maintain the credibility of the testing process.
Any individual found violating the order will face legal action under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The directive took immediate effect following the Friday notification and will remain enforceable throughout the examination period until December 4.
