Police in Dera Ismail Khan have arrested two alleged robbers and recovered a stolen tractor, cash, and weapons from their possession, officials said on Monday.
Details of the Operation
According to a police spokesperson, the arrests were made during a targeted operation in the limits of the City Police Station. The suspects were identified as Naseer Ahmed and Shahid Khan, both residents of the same area.
The police recovered a tractor worth Rs. 1.2 million, Rs. 50,000 in cash, and two pistols with ammunition from the accused. The tractor had been stolen from a local farmer a week ago.
Legal Proceedings
A case has been registered against the suspects, and they are being interrogated to uncover their involvement in other criminal activities. The police have assured that the recovered tractor will be returned to its rightful owner after legal formalities.
Senior police officials have appreciated the efforts of the team and reiterated their commitment to eliminating crime from the district.
