Balochistan Announces Two-Day Holiday for Ashura
The Balochistan government announced on Tuesday that public holidays would be observed across the province on the 9th and 10th of Muharram-ul-Haram in observance of Ashura. Federal Government's Lead
This announcement follows the federal government's declaration of nationwide public holidays for Ashura. Earlier, the Cabinet Division had notified public holidays across the country on June 25 and 26. The Balochistan government's move aligns with the federal directive to honor the occasion.

Separately, authorities in the federal capital have imposed a ban on pillion riding as part of security measures for Ashura. Meanwhile, mobile phone services are expected to remain operational during the period, ensuring communication remains uninterrupted.
