The official inauguration ceremony of the Free Summer Basketball Coaching Camp for boys and girls will be held on Friday, June 12, at the International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court, Aram Bagh, Karachi. The announcement was made by Karachi Basketball Association President Ghulam Abbas Jamal Chaudhry, who said the coaching camp has been progressing successfully with enthusiastic participation from young basketball players.

Prominent Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and senior journalist Tauqeer Ahmed will attend the ceremony as the chief guest. Director Sports, Commissioner Karachi Office, Ghulam Muhammad Khan, will also be present on the occasion. Other distinguished guests expected to attend include Camp Commandant Haji Muhammad Ashraf Yahya, Sindh Basketball Association Secretary Aamir Sharif, and several officials and personalities associated with the sport.
