Fatal Accident on Swat Motorway Claims Two Lives

A tragic road accident on the Swat Motorway near Babuza Interchange resulted in the death of a motorway police official and a one-year-old girl, while four others sustained injuries, according to Rescue 1122 and police sources.

The incident occurred when a speeding motor car lost control and collided with a motorway police vehicle near Babuzu Interchange. The deceased were identified as Nizam-ud-Din (55), a motorway policeman, and Sabata Ejaz, a one-year-old girl. The injured include Akbar Ali (50), a motorway police personnel; Shahbaz (35); Ibrarullah (35), an employee of motorway police; and a woman.

Upon receiving information, rescue teams from Rescue 1122 promptly arrived at the site, conducted immediate rescue operations, and transferred the bodies and injured to a nearby hospital. Initial reports indicate that the speeding car was traveling from Chakdara towards Colonel Sher Khan Interchange when it went out of control near Babuzai Interchange and hit a patrolling motorway police vehicle. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident.
