RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army team, represented by the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), achieved first place at the International Pacesticking Competition 2026, which was held at the Royal Military Academy (RMA) Sandhurst in the United Kingdom, the military's media wing announced on Friday.
Clean Sweep of Honours
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the PMA team made a clean sweep of the competition by securing all major honours. These included the overall team trophy, the Best Pace Sticker award, and the Best Driver award.
Contingent Details
The nine-member Pakistani contingent was led by Major Haider Gulzar, who serves as the Adjutant at PMA. The team arrived in the UK on June 5 to participate in the prestigious event.
