NAWABSHAH - Police arrested four key suspects involved in the double murder case of two university students within 72 hours. The initiative was taken on the notice taken by SSP Shaheed Benazirabad, Sameer Noor Channa.
According to police spokesperson, a few days ago, a tragic incident of double murder took place in the district over a land dispute, in which two university students lost their lives. Upon receiving information about the incident, SSP Sameer Noor Channa took immediate notice and issued strict directives for the arrest of those involved. SSP directed SHO of Taluka Nawabshah Police Station to form a special team for the arrest of suspects.
Investigation and Arrests
The team, formed under the supervision of a DSP, included SHO and an IT team. Demonstrating tireless efforts and professional expertise, police team utilized modern technology along with traditional investigation methods and successfully apprehended four main suspects within 72 hours.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Shahnawaz son of Ali Bux Jamali, Khan Bahadur son of Ali Bux Jamali, Ali Nawaz son of Ali Bux Jamali, and Shehbaz son of Ali Nawaz Jamali. During initial interrogation, the suspects confessed to committing double murder over a land dispute.
Legal Proceedings
A case has been registered against them and further investigation is underway.
