The Pakistan cricket fraternity was plunged into mourning on Friday following the demise of veteran Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) scorer Najam-us-Saeed, who served the game with distinction for many years. He was widely regarded as one of the PCB’s most experienced scorers and made invaluable contributions to Pakistan cricket through his long-standing association with the board. Additionally, he held the position of vice president at Young Muzang Gymkhana.
Funeral and Condolences
According to family sources, his funeral prayers will be offered in Samanabad, Lahore, after Asr prayers. The Pakistan Cricket Board issued a condolence message expressing deep sorrow over his passing and extending heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi also expressed grief, describing Najam as a respected and prominent figure in the scoring department whose services to Pakistan cricket would always be remembered.

Officials of the Lahore Region Cricket Association, club organizers, and members of the cricket community paid tribute to the late scorer for his dedication and contributions to the promotion of cricket.
