Tragic Incident in Multan
An eight-year-old boy lost his life after being run over by a tractor-trolley while playing near Sayedan Wali Khoi on Nawab Pur road in Multan on Sunday. The incident occurred in the afternoon, leaving the local community in shock.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the victim, identified as Muhammad Mateen, son of Muhammad Ramzan, was playing on Nawab Pur road when he accidentally came under the tyres of the tractor-trolley. The driver of the vehicle reportedly fled the scene after the incident.
Family members immediately shifted the body to their residence, where relatives and neighbors gathered to mourn the sudden loss. Rescue personnel arrived at the scene and informed the local police about the accident. They also initiated legal formalities, including the registration of a case against the unidentified driver.
Police officials stated that investigations are underway to trace the tractor-trolley driver. The body will be handed over to the family after completion of legal procedures. The incident has once again raised concerns about road safety in the area, with residents demanding better traffic management and stricter enforcement of traffic laws to prevent such tragic accidents.
