The 'Salam Armed Forces of Pakistan' Free Sports Summer Camp is currently in progress at Nishtar Park, Karachi, under the patronage of peace ambassador and world record holder Aurangzeb Sultan. The camp, which started on June 6, is offering free sports training to students from government schools across multiple disciplines, including athletics, cricket, basketball, shooting ball, volleyball, football, badminton, tug of war, and several other games.
Promoting Grassroots Sports
The initiative aims to promote sports at the grassroots level and encourage young talent to engage in healthy and constructive activities during the summer holidays. Director Sports Commissioner Karachi Ghulam Muhammad attended the camp as the chief guest and praised the efforts to provide quality sports training opportunities to young students.
Distinguished Guests and Personalities
Several prominent sports personalities and officials were present at the event, including Sindh Girls Guide Secretary Anisa Bughio, national gold medalist Arzu Muzaffar Khan, renowned shooting ball player Malik Nasir, UC-2 Soldier Bazaar General Councillor Masooma, Sindh Judo Vice President Madam Amber, national player Mubeen Fatima, Sheeza Shahid, Inamta Shahid, and Kinza Amin. National football player Usman Ghani also visited the camp and interacted with the participants.

Organizers stated that the summer camp is designed to nurture young sporting talent, promote physical fitness, and provide students with access to professional coaching in a positive and disciplined environment.
