Assistive Devices Distributed to 15 Special Persons

The Social Welfare Department distributed assistive devices among 15 special persons at the Social Welfare Complex in Faisalabad on Friday. According to official sources, the ceremony included the distribution of one electric or motorised wheelchair, nine hearing aid devices, four cane sticks, and one crutch. This initiative was carried out under the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Ceremony Details

The event was attended by Deputy Director Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal Amna Alam, Former Federal Minister Haji Akram Ansar, Divisional Coordinator Rana Waris Hussain, and Divisional Director Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Khalida Rafique.

Ongoing Program

Under the same program, a total of 311 assistive devices have already been distributed among special persons in the district. The distribution aims to support individuals with disabilities in their daily lives and improve their mobility and communication.
