DC Sargodha Approves Rs398 Million Welfare Grants

Deputy Commissioner of Sargodha, Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry, on Wednesday sanctioned the release of welfare grants and financial assistance cheques amounting to Rs398 million under the Widows Welfare Fund. This initiative is designed to support the families of government employees in the district.

According to official sources, a total of 815 deserving families will benefit from this financial assistance program. The approved funds are scheduled to be transferred to the bank accounts of beneficiaries before Eidul Adha, enabling them to meet their household needs ahead of the religious festival.

The Deputy Commissioner stated that the Punjab government is taking practical measures for the welfare and support of government employees and their families. He emphasized that timely financial assistance to deserving families is being ensured so they can celebrate Eid with dignity and improved financial stability.
