Health Ministry Launches ITMS for Digital Governance

The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination has officially launched an Integrated Task Management System (ITMS) aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability, and efficiency across its departments and programmes. The initiative was announced during a meeting chaired by Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal, where officials were briefed on the system’s features.

System Features and Implementation

The ITMS platform will enable online task assignment, real-time progress tracking, and centralized monitoring of official directives and responsibilities. This digital tool is designed to streamline operations and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner. The minister emphasized that the system marks a significant step toward e-governance and the Ministry’s transition to a fully digital and paperless working environment.

Impact on Official Workflows

According to Minister Mustafa Kamal, all official business, performance evaluations, and accountability mechanisms will now be managed through the platform. This move is expected to reduce bureaucratic delays and improve service delivery in the health sector. The ITMS is part of broader efforts to modernize government operations and promote digital transparency.
