Larkana Police Arrest Three, Recover Over 2kg Hashish

Two Separate Operations Net Drug Dealers

Larkana police have arrested three accused in two separate operations aimed at curbing drug trafficking, recovering a total of two kilograms and 100 grams of hashish (charas) from their possession on Thursday. The operations were conducted under the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Larkana, Ahmed Chaudhry.

First Raid in Allahabad Police Station Limits

The first operation took place within the jurisdiction of the Allahabad police station in the railway track area. Police apprehended a drug dealer identified as Hussain Jatoi and recovered one kilogram and 80 grams of hashish from his possession. According to SSP Chaudhry, the raid was based on intelligence regarding illegal drug sales in the vicinity.

Second Raid Yields Additional Arrests

The second operation was carried out within the limits of the Sehar police station. During this raid, police arrested a drug dealer named Sikandar and recovered one kilogram and 20 grams of hashish from him. In a significant development, a wanted accused, Sajjad Gadahi, was also arrested during the same operation. SSP Chaudhry stated that Gadahi had been evading law enforcement for some time and was finally captured.

Both operations reflect the ongoing efforts by Larkana police to combat drug abuse and trafficking in the region. The recovered hashish has been documented as evidence, and legal proceedings against the arrested individuals have been initiated. SSP Chaudhry emphasized that such crackdowns will continue to ensure a drug-free environment for the community.
