A fatal road accident occurred on the Moro Bypass when a speeding car overturned while attempting to overtake another vehicle, resulting in one death and one serious injury, according to Rescue 1122 sources on Tuesday.
Accident Details
The car was traveling from Karachi to Bahawalnagar in Punjab when the driver lost control during an overtaking maneuver, causing the vehicle to overturn, police reported. The deceased, identified as Iftikhar, died at the scene. The injured man, Shahid Imran, sustained serious injuries.
Rescue teams arrived promptly and provided first aid to the injured before transporting him to Taluka Hospital, Moro. The body of the deceased was also taken to the hospital for legal formalities. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
