The district office of the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) was formally inaugurated in Muzaffargarh on Saturday. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Deputy Commissioner of Muzaffargarh, other district officials, and representatives of the PERA force.
Deputy Commissioner Highlights PERA's Role
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner stated that the establishment of the PERA force is an important and timely initiative by the government of Punjab. Its primary objective is to ensure effective action against hoarding, illegal encroachments, profiteering, and other unlawful activities. He added that the establishment of the PERA office at the district level will help in the prompt resolution of public complaints and further improve the implementation of laws.
Joint Efforts for Public Relief
He further stated that the district administration and PERA force will work jointly to provide relief to the public, ensure strict compliance with government directives, and uphold the rule of law. At the end of the ceremony, the guests inspected the PERA office, and the staff was directed to perform their duties with honesty, transparency, and professionalism.
PERA Chief's Remarks
On this occasion, District Chief PERA Force Hafiz Khurshid said that the establishment of the district office will further enhance the performance of the PERA force and help organize operations across the district in a more effective manner.
