SIU Karachi Arrests Two in Drug and Street Crime Raids

The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the CIA Police Karachi has arrested two suspects allegedly involved in online drug sales and street crimes. The arrests were made during separate operations, leading to the recovery of 40 grams of cocaine, nine snatched mobile phones, and a 30-bore pistol.

Suspects Identified and Arrested

According to SSP SIU Dr Samiullah Soomro, the arrested suspects have been identified as Arman, son of Nawab Khan, and Aziz Alam, son of Mahmood Alam. They were apprehended from the Boat Basin and North Karachi areas. Cases have been registered against them at the SIU Saddar police station, and an investigation has been launched.

Recovered Items and Operations

The operations resulted in the recovery of 40 grams of cocaine, nine snatched mobile phones, and a 30-bore pistol. The SIU continues to investigate the suspects' connections to broader criminal networks.
