The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a forecast predicting very hot and humid weather conditions across most districts of Sindh province for the next 24 hours. The advisory, released on Tuesday, indicates that residents should prepare for elevated temperatures and high humidity levels throughout the region.
Coastal Areas to Experience Partly Cloudy Skies
According to the PMD, coastal areas of Sindh are likely to experience partly cloudy weather conditions. This shift in cloud cover may provide some respite from the intense heat, though humidity is expected to remain high. The department noted that these conditions are typical for this time of year, influenced by seasonal weather patterns.
Rain and Thundershowers Expected in Specific Districts
The forecast also includes the possibility of rain and thundershowers in certain parts of the province. Specifically, Dadu and Tharparkar districts, along with their surrounding areas, are expected to receive precipitation. The PMD stated that these showers could bring temporary relief from the heat, but may also lead to localized disruptions if heavy.
The PMD advises residents in affected areas to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. Farmers and outdoor workers are urged to take necessary precautions. The department continues to monitor weather developments and will issue updates as needed.
