Deputy Commissioner Chairs Revenue Review Meeting

Deputy Commissioner Kot Addu Barrister Bilal Saleem chaired an important review meeting to assess the district’s revenue recovery progress and evaluate performance against government-assigned collection targets. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Qudsia Naz, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Malik Muhammad Asad Ali Budh, Assistant Commissioner Chowk Sarwar Shaheed Malik Muhammad Iqbal Lang, Assistant Commissioner Kot Addu Farukh Mahmood, and officers from relevant departments.

Detailed Review of Revenue Position

During the meeting, participants conducted a detailed review of the current revenue recovery position across the district, including outstanding dues, tehsil-wise performance, recovery targets, and progress made in collecting pending government revenues. Departmental officers briefed the Deputy Commissioner on their respective recovery efforts and enforcement measures.

Directives for Achieving Targets

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Barrister Bilal Saleem directed all concerned officers to ensure the achievement of government revenue collection targets and utilize all available resources to recover outstanding dues. He stressed that no negligence or laxity in revenue recovery would be tolerated. He further instructed all Assistant Commissioners and relevant officials to closely monitor the recovery campaign on a daily basis and ensure the timely achievement of assigned targets.

Emphasis on Transparency and Legal Compliance

The Deputy Commissioner also emphasized that the entire revenue recovery process must be carried out with transparency, merit, and strict adherence to the law to ensure the timely collection of government revenues.
